Total relief.
Mainly for the two most criticized: Eric Spoelstra and LeBron James. Spoelstra
had been criticized after the Finals last year. A lot of people said if he had
the guts to handle the three stars. Or if he was a coach with the right tactics
for the game of Heat. But he replied with much wisdom and a stifling defense
against Oklahoma. The other criticized after last Finals was LeBron. This year,
responded with a stellar performance. He was criticized for failing to appear
in "clutch-time" (last 5 minutes of the game). But this year he
charged Heat’ offense in difficult times as that sixth game in Boston.
mantenía 5 puntos arriba (22-17) a 3:22. Además en la ofensiva del equipo local
aparecían los tiros de tres puntos. Dos de Mike Miller y uno de Norris Cole
ponían a Miami arriba por 9 (31-22) a 1:01. Finalmente, el Thunder se acercaba
a 5 (31-26) en el cierre del primer cuarto.
The match
began very hard with Miami attacking the rim without much success. Oklahoma was
not successful in their shots, too. In three minutes the result was 2-2. From
there it would open the rim for both teams. With 5 consecutive points from
LeBron, Miami put 16-10 at 5:56 the end of the first quarter. Oklahoma was well
on offense but poor on defense, especially in the defensive help in the paint.
Thus, the Heat was maintained above 5 points (22-17) at 3:22. Also on the home
team's offense appeared 3-point shots. Two of Mike Miller and one of Norris Cole
put Miami up by 9 (31-22) at 1:01. Finally, the Thunder was coming to 5 (31-26)
at the end of the first quarter.
sacaba 15 (57-42) a 2:44.
a 10 (57-47).
Oklahoma

the visitor was at 2 (34-32) at 10:49 for the halftime break. A 14-4 run helped
the Heat to escape by 12 points (48-36) at 5:53. Scott Brooks called timeout
because Oklahoma was very lost on the court. But the visitors did not respond
and Miami still very accurate. Moreover, the home team moved the ball very
well. The Heat took 15 (57-42) at 2:44. At the end of the first half, the
Thunder was placed at 10 (57-47). The difference was the contribution of Mike
Miller, who had not scored any 3-point until this game but in the first half he
was 4/4.
implacable. Lo terminó ganado 36-22.
Oklahoma was
closer to 5 (61-56) quickly but Miami remained intractable from behind the arc
and get back to 10 (72-62) at 7:00 to the end of the third quarter. With good

nears to the basket. So with a 19-1 run, the home team took off at 25 (88-63)
at 3:01. The third quarter of Miami was relentless. They won it 36-22.

occasion. So, Miami won their second championship by beating Oklahoma City for
121 to 106 and win the final series by 4-1.
