En el tercer cuarto los estadounidenses desequilibraron el encuentro. Pero Argentina nunca se entregó a pesar de la superioridad del rival. 109 a 83 fue el resultado final y ahora Estados Unidos deberá enfrentar a España, que derrotó a Rusia en la primera semifinal y que en su momento entregó el partido contra Brasil para evitar a EEUU en semifinales.
