Siempre se dice que se aprende más de las derrotas que de las victorias. Ésta fue una victoria abultada en el resultado pero que comenzó muy desfavorable para el seleccionado argentino. Para los próximos partidos tiene que tener en cuenta el horrible primer cuarto que jugó. En los momentos complicados se dependió muchísimo de las máximas figuras como Manu y Scola. Eso en un eventual cruce de cuartos de final lo van a sufrir muchísimo. No le debe pasar lo mismo que hoy si quiere aspirar a medallas porque contra equipo como Brasil o Rusia no hay mucho margen de error.

Innecesario ingreso si se tiene en cuenta que hay que optimizar recursos para los partidos que se vienen.

En el perdedor se destacaron Mejri (19 puntos y 14 rebotes), El Mabrouk (16 puntos) y Ben Romdhane (12 puntos y 6 rebotes).
