Heat pulled off a tough match. It was 115-111 in overtime against Celtics, who can't win with the tremendous performance of Rajon Rondo with 44 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. He also played 53 minutes and this is going to hit hard on a veteran team. In Miami, the highlight players was Lebron, Wade and Chalmers.

The first quarter started evenly. With Boston using Pierce in  offensive. In Miami the attack was dividedWith a Greg Stiemsma' dunk, put Boston up by 3 (7-10). But the reserve center of Celtics foul filled soon. Stiemsma did 4 fouls in 3 minutes. Boston pulled difference of 7 (13-20) due to attacks to the basket by Pierce and Garnett' baskets. With Rondo's free throws, Celtics won the quarter by 6 (18-24).

At the beginning of the second period, Boston was still very firm and moved away at 15 (21-36) with 8:33 to the end of the first half. Dywane Wade Miami was missing and was sorry. Mario Chalmers and Mike Miller came to the rescue of the Heat but Boston was playing smart and had a difference of 13 (30-43). With the help of LeBron James, Miami shortened distances (43-49). From then until the end of the first half were exchanged baskets. Boston went up to rest for 7 (46-53).

The third quarter started with the same tendency as he finished the first half. But in Miami, Wade started to take more prominence while the scorer was Chalmers. A 9-2 run to the Heat helped him regain the lead (73-71) after more than two quarters (7-6 at 7:45 in the 1st quarter). Rondo kept  intractable but Boston relied heavily on him. Miami went to the last quarter up by 6 (81-75).

In the final quarter, Boston regained the lead (85-86) with 8:57 remaining. Chalmers carried the Heat's offensive but the Celtics continued to dominate the game, mainly in the paint. But there was a very key moment passed unnoticed though. Ray Allen missed an open 3-point when Boston won by 5 to 3:13 to go. Miami woke up and with a 10-2 run, they going to win by 3 (99-96) at 1:08. A great move for Boston with several passes left Allen alone and he tied the game at 99 with a 3-pointer. Thus, the game went to overtime.

Rondo, who wasn't leaving the game, was commanding the offensive and put Celtics up for 2 (101-103) at 2:16. But the point guard felt the wear like the Celtics and the Heat took advantage with a 11-2 run and sentenced the match. Finally, the end result was Miami 115-111 Boston.

Basketball is a team sport and always wins the best. And that happened tonight at the AT&T Center, where San Antonio defeated with great authority to Oklahoma City for 120-111. The game displayed by the Spurs, especially in the beginning of the third quarter, was the main difference in the match. Thunder relied heavily on his offensive trio.

San Antonio began with a suffocating defense to Oklahoma. The main thing was the help of the players that marked the men without the ball. Oklahoma was 0/4 in court and 3 turnovers. The Spurs drew a difference of 6-0. Kevin Durant was not finding his shot and just the absence of 6:52 to the end of the first quarter, he scored his first points with a 3-pointer. But San Antonio had an inspired Tony Parker, who with 10 points put his team up 19-9. A small reaction of Oklahoma, by Durant's hand, approached the visitor to 5 (23-18). Finally the quarter ended with San Antonio up by 6 (28-22).

Oklahoma could not find a return to the Spurs, who applied zone defense. A 3-pointer by Stephen Jackson put the Spurs up by 13 (42-29) at 7:17 to the break.. The rent had acquired San Antonio on the scoreboard did continue with his usual calm and experience. When the Thunder wanted to react, Parker appeared again to keep the difference. The first half ended with the reflection of the match: a tremendous block by Tim Duncan to Russell Westbrook. The partial result was 55-44 to San Antonio. The leading scorer was Tony Parker with 17. In the visitor, Kevin Durant and James Harden had 14 points each. San Antonio left Oklahoma in 36.7% of field goal.

Durant and Westbrook charged too much Oklahoma' offense. This suited him to San Antonio with its layered defense kept the difference. Difference continued to grow thanks to the spectacular passing game in San Antonio. 4 consecutive baskets for the Spurs with 4 different asistidores widened the gap to 22 (80-58) at 4:47 to the end of the third quarter. With a 8-0 run, the Thunder was "closer" to 14 (80-66). The nervousness of the team moved to Oklahoma' coach, who was called to a  technical foul after a Durant' offensive foul. To this point came the embarrassment of the Thunder that in the final three minutes of the third quarter they used an unusual resource in that segment of the game: Send to the line the worst free-throw shooter of the opposing team. The Brazilian Tiago Splitter suffered it. He threw 50% (5-10) from the free-throw line. The third quarter ended with a high scoring. San Antonio won it 37-32.

Oklahoma came out with a different attitude to the last quarter. They started adjusting the marks, especially on Tony Parker. In turn, San Antonio was very static in offensive. The Thunder shortened to 9 (95-86) with 9:37 remaining. Between Durant, Westbrook and Harden were charged the offense of the visitor. Thus, Oklahoma was down the difference to 6 (99-93) at 5:40. But Parker likes challenges and, despite the stifling defense, remained intractable to put San Antonio up by 11 (107-96) in the absence of 3:32 to the end of the game. And with the common experience, they maintained that difference to the end (120-111). Tony Parker was the outstanding figure with 34 points and 8 assists. Manu Ginobili finished with 20 and Tim Duncan with 11 points and 12 rebounds, added another double-double, as Kawhi Leonard, with 18 and 10. Durant (31), Harden (30) and Westbrook (27) were the main offensive weapons in Oklahoma.

Next game is Thursday in Oklahoma City, where the Thunder will look to start a historic comeback. San Antonio scored his 20th straight win (10th in Playoffs) and tied the Milwaukee Bucks in 1971.

De la mano de Manu, San Antonio ganó el primer punto/From the hand of Manu, San Antonio won the first point

The match was hard in the previous. And so it was too. It featured a player who came with discrete numbers. Manu Ginobili averaged, until this game, 11.6 points in 26.8 minutes. Today, with 26 points in 34 minutes, drove San Antonio to a important victory to start up the series. It was 101 to 98 to Oklahoma City Thunder.

At the beginning of the game, Thabo Sefolosha with a sober defense (4 steals) and 5 points, gave a 3-point difference (10-13) at Oklahoma in the absence of 5:53 to the end of the first set. The fourth steal of the Swiss struck it to Manu Ginobili. From there, the Argentine guard would be angry. The last seven points of San Antonio in the quarter were scored by Manu, including a big 3-pointer to beat the buzzer closing the first: San Antonio 24-18 Oklahoma City.

What most stood out for much of the season at Spurs was the depth of the bench. And so began the second quarter, with input from Tiago Splitter and Ginobili, San Antonio took 6 of difference (31-25) at 8:58 to the end of the first half. But again the starters of the Thunder became and matched the game at 31. James Harden didn't appear in Oklahoma. The "Beard" was 1/8 in court. The party continued even and had many mistakes. Many turnovers by San Antonio. And Oklahoma took advantage of the break to go up by 1 (46-47). Kevin Durant was the scorer of the game with 13. Well accompanied by Russell Westbrook with 9, like Derek Fisher. The highlighted in home team was Ginobili with 10. The fact that San Antonio, until   today's game averaged 13.1 turnovers per game. And until the end of the first half, Spurs had 14.

The third quarter began being played mainly in the paint. Insights with layups and movements of big-men. In this category, the visitor pulled difference. Serge Ibaka was fading little by little Tim Duncan. Oklahoma City took 7 of difference (47-54) at 8:52 to the end of the third quarter. But French Tony Parker showed up with 5 straight points and San Antonio approached to 2 (52-54). The game remained even in this segment. But Harden appeared in the game, mainly breaking with attacks to the hoop. San Antonio was in a hurry and could not find a way to break a good defense for the Thunder, which won the third quarter 24-16 and took a difference of 9 (62-71).

With a 11-2 run, San Antonio tied the game at 73 with 7:56 remaining. Pure experience of the Spurs. Oklahoma's youth was running out of legs. Slaughter of San Antonio is amazing. A player scoring par excellence as Stephen Jackson kept comfortable throwing to Kevin Durant. But Derek Fisher appeared in Oklahoma scoring the his 13 point with 6-6 on the court to put his team down by one (77-76). "I want some nasty". Gregg Popovich said that in a timeout. And players heeded him. Oklahoma scoring only through free throws. A double and a foul of Ginobili helped San Antonio to get 10 (94-84) at 1:57 to go. Spurs maintained their characteristic calm and took the first game despite some 3-pointers of the Thunder on the end. The great figure was Manu Ginobili, who scored 26 points with 9/14 on field goal. But the leading scorer in the game was Durant with 27. The next game is on Tuesday again at AT&T Center in San Antonio.
