Finalmente ocurrió lo previsto. New Orleans Hornets seleccionó a Anthony Davis en la primera posición del Draft 2012 de la NBA. Davis es un tremendo jugador defensivo (4,7 tapas por partido en la NCAA). Gran atleta con un muy buen salto. Es muy delgado pero se irá fortaleciendo con el paso del tiempo. Además New Orleans eligió a Austin Rivers en la 10º posición para reforzar su media cancha. El hijo de Doc Rivers es un escolta con buen lanzamiento de tres puntos. Los Hornets lo utilizarían de base ya que quizás retengan a Eric Gordon en esa posición.

It finally happened as planned. New Orleans Hornets selected Anthony Davis in the first position of the 2012 NBA Draft. Davis is a tremendous defensive player (4.7 blocks per game in NCAA). He’s a great athlete with a very good jump. He’s very thin but he will become stronger over time. Besides, New Orleans chose Austin Rivers in the 10^th position to strengthen their mid-court. The son of Doc Rivers is a shooting guard with good three-point shot. The Hornets would use him as point guard if they may retain Eric Gordon on that position.
